At Philishave Wouter Konings lead a team that developed a new shaver for the lowest price points.
Responsibilities of Wouter Konings as Project Leader:
- Help to define and execute the Philishave division policy, project briefing and operating plan
- Convert the project briefing into a design vision and a project plan
- Getting project support in the organisation and team
- Achieving the project targets, by initiating, coordinating and monitoring all activities
- Insuring the Philishave design and construction quality including functional analysis and call-rate prediction
The cost price calculation of the end result showed that the production of a low end shaver was no longer profitable in the Netherlands. Luckily, a lot of the new insights are used in other shaves.
